Combining his 37 years of photographic experience along with his Mechanical Engineering degree Ian is well suited photographically for the industrial market. He is a graduate of the Mechanical Engineering degree program at the University of Alberta and uses this engineering knowledge to your benefit when capturing industrial images. Clients like the fact that he has a scientific background and can talk with their like-minded industrial staff about their technology or processes that they would like captured.
Ian understands that in dealing with industrial situations, they present unique challenges that require communication and technical expertise to create resourceful solutions. He is known for his creative lighting and determining viewpoints that capture award-winning images for his clients whether they are for annual reports, brochures or websites. He also is holds several safety certificates that include: first aid, confined spaces, fall protection and H2S.
His travels have provided him with the opportunity to capture images of clients leading edge technology, industrial plants and processes, refineries and civil and infrastructure projects.
